Hello,

My name is Donald, I have a lovely wife and a son and daughter with their own families. I am fortunate enough to have lived in three different countries, South Africa, England and now New Zealand, and visited many others.

I am fairly well travelled as they say in the classic’s, and have always been an adventurous type of person and love to try new things and different foods. I have found many people like to try exotic dishes but always revert to classic home style favourites.

My Blog is about some of my adventures and my cooking skills and hope that some will find it interesting and to try some tested yummy recipes,  Maybe some day I will be fortunate enough to publish the whole story as a book.  In my draft leading up to this blog, I have made some humorous sketches dipicting some of my adventures. – My hobbies are playing the Guitar and Painting, I will upload a couple of my painting works at some stage – above is a recent painting I did. – Enjoy
